Suggested Itinerary
Day 1. Departing mid afternoon from our local area, we head towards The Humber Bridge taking in a meal stop en-route to The King George Dock in Hull, where we board our 21.00 hr sailing to Rotterdam, arriving at 08.15 on Day 2.Day 2. After disembarking we make our way to The Famous Delft Pottery with free time to visit the showroom and shop and maybe take in a free guided tour. We continue our journey to Amsterdam where the rest of the day will be free for you to explore. Late afternoon we travel to our 4* Hotel in Veldhoven.
Day 3. We journey North to Apeldoorn where we visit The Magnificent Het Loo Palace & Gardens. The Palace was built in the 1600's for William 3rd and Mary 2nd of England.
Day 4. After breakfast, FLORIADE the highlight of the tour awaits us at Venlo. Here we spend the day exploring the pavillions, themed show gardens, flowers, plants and vegetables. Floriade takes place every 10 years.
Day 5. En-route to Rotterdam we go sightseeing in 's-Hertogenbosch (Den-Bosch). A 1 hour guided tour is included with the option of a subterranean boat trip under the city. From here we travel back to the port for our return overnight sailing to Hull.
Day 6. We travel back to our local area via The Humber Bridge.
Accommodation
2 nights onboard P&O Ferries,3 nights at The 4* NH Hotel Koningshof close to Eindhoven. The hotel has a lift and offers an indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym.
